Ready Item:
This refers to products that are sold as they are, without any changes or preparation. For example, drinks, cigarettes, and chewing gums are considered ready items.
When creating a ready item, you need to enter the product’s name, price, category, and other relevant details.
You can get more information about creating ready items by clicking on the Ready Item section.
Dish (Technical Card):
This is mainly a database used for preparing food and drinks. A Dish (technical card) allows you to define the ingredients and their amounts used in a product.
It explains in detail which ingredients are used and how much of each one is needed.
You can get more information about creating a Dish by clicking on the Dish section.
Main Difference:
While Ready Item describes products that are bought and sold without any changes, Dish explains the composition (ingredients) of a product and how much is used.
Ready items can be sold directly, whereas dishes are meant for tracking preparation and production processes.
💡It is not possible to change a Ready Item into a Dish or a Dish into a Ready Item.
If it is created incorrectly, it must be deleted and created again.
