Technical Card (Dish) is a data module that displays the composition, preparation method, and key specifications of a product.

To add a technical card in the Clopos system, go to the back office, navigate to Menu → Products, and click the "Create" button located at the top right corner.

In the opened small window, click on the word "Dish"

In the opened window, enter the information related to the Technical Card. When creating the Technical Card, both the basic information and detailed information are entered.

General:

Name – Enter the name of the technical card to be created in this field.

Barcode – Enter the barcode of the technical card in this field. Each product has a unique barcode, and it cannot be duplicated. By connecting a barcode scanner to the sales terminal, you can also sell your products using barcodes.

Category – Select the category in which you want the technical card to appear or assign it. Choose the category you have previously created in this field.

Station – In this field, select the station that will present the technical card. Stations are created and grouped in advance.

Image – Use this field to upload the product image. Try to ensure the image ratio is 16x9 and of the highest quality.

Low stock – This field is used to enter the quantity of the product. If the product quantity in the warehouse decreases and you use the "Low stock" filter in the "Inventory" section, that product will appear in the search results filtered accordingly.

Notification – If this button is enabled and the "Minimum stock alert" is also active in the Manager app, you will automatically receive a notification on your phone when the stock level of the product decreases.

Price – If you do not have branches or if there is no price difference between branches, you should enter the product's sale price in this field. If prices differ by branch, you should use the price table instead.

Detailed Field Descriptions:

  • Accounting Category – Assign a code or category used for accounting purposes to the recipe card.

  • Maximum day of product return – Indicates how many days after the sale a product can be returned. Important for perishable goods.

  • Cooking Time – Entered by kitchen staff. If exceeded, the item appears in the “Delayed” section on the kitchen screen and is also shown in the QR menu.

  • Description – For internal use only. Allows you to note reasons for changes or activations/deactivations.

  • Taxes – Select the applicable tax type for the product.

  • Allergies – If the product contains allergens (e.g., eggs), indicate it here. It will be shown in the QR menu.

  • Diets – Add labels like vegan, vegetarian, halal, etc. Helps customers filter and find suitable products.

  • Inactive – If not active, the product only appears in the back panel. When active, it is available at the sales terminal.

  • Exclude Service Fee – If enabled, no service fee will be applied to this product during sale.

  • Complimentary (Ikram) – Allows staff to mark the product as a gift (price set to 0) in the sales terminal.

  • Portion (Pors) – If the product is sold by portion, this must be enabled. The system adjusts stock and price based on the portion selected.

  • Set – If the product is part of a set, it is labeled accordingly in the QR menu for easier identification.

  • Prohibit Discount – For products where discounts are not allowed (e.g., minimal profit margin), enable this option. A * symbol will appear next to the product in the receipt.

  • Sold by Weight – When enabled, the system will ask for the product’s weight during sale and calculate the price accordingly.

  • Per Branch – Allows you to activate/deactivate the product individually for each branch, both in the menu and sales terminal.
