In the Clopos system, you can offer any product from the menu to a customer free of charge as a complimentary item (gift). To do this, the complimentary permission for the product must be activated. To activate it, go to Back Panel → Menu → Products section. Click on the three dots and navigate to the Edit section.
In the opened window, activate the product's Complimentary button and click the Save button. After this, you can offer the product as complimentary in the terminal.
To apply a complimentary offer to a product in the terminal, click on the product and select the Gift
button. Specify how many of the added products will be offered as complimentary, then click the Complimentary button.
The value of the complimentary product will be displayed as shown below, i.e., as "0".
When generating a report, even though you can see the total value of complimentary products offered during sales, these complimentary sales are not reflected in the Total Sum section.
💡 Offering complimentary products will cause the profit in your report to become negative. This is because the complimentary product has a cost value. While the sale amount is 0, the product's cost value still exists (for example, 2 manats). In this case, it is recorded as a negative 2, and this negative value is reflected in the final profit calculation.
